Will Safari 3 replace Safari 2, or are they different applications? I want Safari 2, but then I also want to try Safari 3. Please help me.
If you want to try Safari 3 out without deleting Safari 2, just copy Safari 3 to a folder other than Applications. Then when you're ready to get rid of Safari 2 mdownload safari 3ove Safari 3 to the applications folder and replace the older version.
I don't think there are any major bugs with Safari 3, but I use Camino so I wouldn't know from experience.
This is all based on the assumption that you're running Mac OS X. I have no idea if it's possible to install tdownload safari 3wo separate version of the same app in Windows.
It will upgrade to Safari 3.
You won't notice the difference.
Application settings will remain the same.
You will receive a few more features and better reliability. It's really easy to install. : )
