I will ge graduating with a bachelors in finance in May. I'm kind of nervous at job interviews and I hate behavioral job interview because they put you on the spot and you dont know what to expect. What are some behavioral questions employers will ask? What's the best way to prepare for one and what do you do when they ask a challenging question in which you cannot apply yourself to it or just plain out stuck and dont know what to say?
As an employer I want to know that the candidate is...
1) qualified for the position or trainable
2) capable of working with others with minimal conflict (I understand that not everyone gets along)
3) on time, on task, on target with their assignments
4) ethical, moral, and legal
I don't look for perfection... I'm the boss... and I'M NOT.
Be honest. Take your time and give thought to your answers... even chuckle if you find the questions humorous or unusual to release tension... we often know the questions are strange, like "what are your LEAST FAVORABLE QUALITIES?" To me it's a dumb question... but I will ask it to catch the candidate reaction.
Don't be ashamed to ask if you do not fully understand what is being asked.
To prepare I suggest a "mock interview" with someone you trust in thebehavioral interview questionsir opinion or someone who is in the line of work you are seeking. Then there is just tape recording yourself and being your own critic. It used to work for me.

I work in health care but the question I always get asked that I can never think of the answer to is, what are your flaws, things that you need to work on. I always say give me a minute to think on that, then I say the only thing I may have to work on is doing to much work and stepping over other people feet, I have to busy all the time or I get bored and start doing other peoples jobs.

3) Do some mock interviews with friends or career counselor

5) It is not the end of the world if u didnt do well. There will always be another interview.
those questions are bullshit. just designed to make you talk. like a police interrogation. the more you talk they'll find something to trip you up
just don't feel pressured to talk. ask the interviewer to explain the question or just tell them you want to move on. if they're bull shitting you chancers are you're not getting the job anyway and they're just killing time so not to hurt your feelings.
Well, by being teachable, coachable and trainable, with a great attitude, a sphere of influence you can build a team starting with 2 people and manage an organization. Earn as you learn! Being your own boss is one of the best things you can do, set your own hours, work form home, no geographical boundaries!

I just went to the Lemp Mansion in St. Louis, MO the other day. It's one of the top 10 most haunted places in America but I still wasn't really expecting anything just because I've yet to really experience anything. But I must say that I did encounter something odd. It doesn't sound very scary but I was getting ready to walk into a hallway of the home when a really loud squeak from the floor came from the area I was heading(not where I was walking at the moment) and I about had a heart attack and booked it down the stairs. I can come up with no reasonable explanation for what could have caused the sound. Plus, I took tons of pictures and there were about a billion orbs in them. I know they pop up in pictures often but it was an unreasonable amount to just be a coincidence, right?

yes i have been to a lunatic asylum. it was very scary. it was like at midnight and we went into an old theatre and we were all standing around and i felt someone grab my arm i thought it was one of my friends being an idiot but my stomach when all weird and omg i was so scared i wanted to get out and some of the people in the group kept feeling like there was a material or some sort being pulled over their faces but their was nothing there and we unfortunatley didnt take a camera but my friend did and there were heaps of orb and it was real freaky
to answer ur question the squeak could have just been the board that u stepped on had travelled down the hallway and moved the board down there but i would have done the same as u and booked it but old houses do creak....alot. lol
well my house actually has ghosts in them. me and ryan snuck in a ouija board (bad and dumb idea!) and we used it in my roreal pictures ghosts haunted placesom and like we were the only ones home at the time, so we encounter one ghost. He said he was liek a conel i think during some war i forgot, and like he also said there were many other ghosts here. We were freaked out and said bye and we burned that dang board! I do believe in em cause i did have alot of encounters. Once there was no breeze in my room, no a/c on and no fan. and my windows were shut tight. All of a sudden my hair starts ruffling. Then there was another time that some one pushed me down my stairsteps to the first floor of my house. I didnt fall by myself because i was having my eyes focused on my feet then when i got to the first step something pushed me hard and fast down the stairs thank god i didnt break any bones only a bunch of bruises and some blood from a knocked out baby tooth. After that we had an exorcism to get rid of em. But i know some of the ghosts are still here somehow.

this may be a stupid question.. but i just bought some magnetic earrings from claire's and i have no idea how to put them on my ears. the package came with two earrings and three small magnets. so my question is... how in the world do you wear these things?
it is not hard to wear magnetic earrings all you have to do is take the magnet off of the back of the earring and put it on the back of your ear and put the other part of the earring in the front and they should attract to each other. Magnetic earrings might hurt your ears or leave them red.

what are eyebrows forUneven eyebrows. What's the fastest way to grow back my eyebrows?

I have a few questions that go together that I use as a minister for Alternative/Pagan Religions for members of all ages in the Military and their family members who are searching for their own personal relationship with that which they relate to as a God/Goddess/Deity or Higher Power.
First is for tolerance of other beliefs.
Do different people refer to you in various ways such as Mr.,Mrs., first name or nicknames?
Do you have the same relationship with everyone? (Parents, siblings, friends, co-workers or even checkout person at the store?)
Which relationship is correct and real?
If you can have various relationships with different people and even be referred to in different ways, would it not be arrogant to claim that it is possible for you but not for "god"?
For finding ones personal path I ask about their knowledge, acceptance and tolerance of them self.
I ask them to mquestions on quotesake an honest list and description of them self. Not being judgmental of what is good or bad, just what is. This list is personal and for them self. I can tell how honest a person is in their list by their reaction of showing it to me, which I will rarely read the list. I then ask them to take each item listed and make 2 lists from it. One in which each item could be considered as a strength and useful in their life and another where each item could be used against them or considered as a weakness. There are always both ways to look at any attribute.
When they can honestly look at them self and see that everyone has strengths and weakness, it is all a matter of how one looks at things, learns to deal with them self and accept that a perceived strength can be a weakness and a perceived weakness can actually be a strength that they are able to relate to others as equal but different and also develop the kind if personal relationship with the spiritual aspects of their life in a way that it is an active part of their life and who they are, not just something that they do on certain days or at certain times. It also builds respect for them self with their spirituality. It also builds a tolerance, respect and understanding for others and their personal path.
I try to support each developing a personal path that works in their life based on self knowledge and understanding. When they are able to interact with others who also have different perceptions, the interaction allows each to develop a deeper spirituality on a personal level. The exchange of beliefs and ideas builds bonds that are supportive of one another. When working with military and family of the Soldiers/Airman not only is a strong personal spiritual basis important but also a network that is supportive spiritually as well as in a personal manner can be as important as any other system of support. I have seen some friendships that have bonds on a level of traditional family bonds built based on these principles that are still intact after nearly 2 decades.

If you can have various relationships with different people and even be referred to in different ways, would it not be arrogant to claim that it is possible for you but not for "god"?
For finding ones personal path I ask about their knowledge, acceptance and tolerance of them self.
I ask them to mquestions on quotesake an honest list and description of them self. Not being judgmental of what is good or bad, just what is. This list is personal and for them self. I can tell how honest a person is in their list by their reaction of showing it to me, which I will rarely read the list. I then ask them to take each item listed and make 2 lists from it. One in which each item could be considered as a strength and useful in their life and another where each item could be used against them or considered as a weakness. There are always both ways to look at any attribute.
When they can honestly look at them self and see that everyone has strengths and weakness, it is all a matter of how one looks at things, learns to deal with them self and accept that a perceived strength can be a weakness and a perceived weakness can actually be a strength that they are able to relate to others as equal but different and also develop the kind if personal relationship with the spiritual aspects of their life in a way that it is an active part of their life and who they are, not just something that they do on certain days or at certain times. It also builds respect for them self with their spirituality. It also builds a tolerance, respect and understanding for others and their personal path.
I try to support each developing a personal path that works in their life based on self knowledge and understanding. When they are able to interact with others who also have different perceptions, the interaction allows each to develop a deeper spirituality on a personal level. The exchange of beliefs and ideas builds bonds that are supportive of one another. When working with military and family of the Soldiers/Airman not only is a strong personal spiritual basis important but also a network that is supportive spiritually as well as in a personal manner can be as important as any other system of support. I have seen some friendships that have bonds on a level of traditional family bonds built based on these principles that are still intact after nearly 2 decades.

relationship conversation tipsTips on approaching a relationship conversation with my boyfriend?
My boyfriend and I have been on the fritz for a few months, after dating for over a year. We both acknowledge that things have been iffy, but have also agreed that we have a good thing going and want to do our part to try to make it work because we really do value each other.
There are many things I love about him, but his thoughtfulness in the beginning of the relationship really drew me to him. He was the typical guy trying to impress a girl, but he made me feel amazing and like he really truly wanted to be with me. Fast forward to now. He's still supportive and says he loves me, but the spark is dying. While I don't need compliments and to know how he feels every day, without anything at all, I feel like there's nothing there. All we do is joke around, talk about our day, and then go to bed and cuddle. I miss all the sweet things he used to do and say to me, even just the little, insignificant actions like putting his arm around me if I was cold. On top of it, I have a higher libido than him which normally doesn't cause problems because I try not to take it personally, but lately with the lack of affection and closeness elsewhere, I feel almost rejected or like he really doesn't want to be by me.
Whenever we talk about our relationship, immediately he gets defensive and starts talking around stuff so that everything is my fault. I understand it goes both ways and there's probably lots of stuff I need to differently as well, but whenever talks come up we end up just beating heads and getting frustrated.
It's getting to the point where I don't know if I can continue in a relationship where I don't feel the love, but I know that if we both just try and put the effort in, we'd be amazing again, but he just isn't putting in the effort. I want to have a rational talk with him and just tell him how I feel, but I'm afraid bringing this up will end up being the last straw and cause us to get so frustrated we end it.

And this was my strategy: make him a nice dinner, and after he is full and relaxed you could start with "do you love me the same as when we first started dating" You should say something like I really love you too and I think WE should put more effort into making our relationship work. If WE want our relationship to continue and grow then WE need to add a little more umph. I'll show you more affection and you show me more affection. We should talk more and tell each other I love you more often. We both need to putrelationship conversation tips equal effort into this, not just one of us doing all the work. I remember when you used to (ex:) tell me how much you valued me and I'd love to hear that more again. And I know I used to tell you how much you meant to me also and I'll start saying that more too. Sometimes it takes a woman to show a man how it's done. You seem torn tho, a part of you wants to stay and a part wants to go. So try to work it out, if he is still not giving you what you need then leave. Before it took forever for my bf and I to sort things out but after our serious talk about "where are we going with this relationship" we got things cleared up. We've gotten to the point where I can flat out tell him what I want done, and he can do the same with me with out us not wanting to kill each other. :)

It's not the effort that will bring back the spark. You had it, it was great, but do you really see a couple of flashback memories returning the spark forever?
Sit him down and explain to each other the way you see things. You are basically really good friends now, since there is no love. Try being friends with benefits, if something happens.... it happens. If you two are to be together the trial separation should work. You don't know how to appreciate you've got until it is gone.

I can't tell you this for a fact, but it seems like he's not feeling the same for you anymore. maybe he's bored, maybe there's no excitement in the relationship for him anymore.

I would suggest that you stick with a theme. For example: Overcoming Prejudice and using the civil rights movement/Martin Luther King era for ideas. You could use quotes from that time period and songs from that era, such as "we shall overcome" and "I have a dream". I think that would be really powerful. There are a lot of other themes you could use as well, such as diversity in general, or love, or children are the future... I thinking sticking with some kind of a theme would be the most powerful.
Do you have a particular theme for your prquotes of song lyricsoject? Is this project a school assignment? My daughter did something similar for either photography or journalism. She's done a few other things for yearbook and they were quite creative. More info. would help to narrow down ideas. Also, if school related (age appropriate) may need consideration.

I would suggest that you stick with a theme. For example: Overcoming Prejudice and using the civil rights movement/Martin Luther King era for ideas. You could use quotes from that time period and songs from that era, such as "we shall overcome" and "I have a dream". I think that would be really powerful. There are a lot of other themes you could use as well, such as diversity in general, or love, or children are the future... I thinking sticking with some kind of a theme would be the most powerful.
Do you have a particular theme for your prquotes of song lyricsoject? Is this project a school assignment? My daughter did something similar for either photography or journalism. She's done a few other things for yearbook and they were quite creative. More info. would help to narrow down ideas. Also, if school related (age appropriate) may need consideration.

I just had my baby girl August 22,2007 I am a first time mommy so I was wondering if any of you could tell me why does she hiccup often? Shes laying down when it starts and I do make sure and burp her after she gets feed, should i be concerned? Also she hasnt opened her eyes yet, I mean she tries and when they kinda open they move from side to side she focuses them for a little bit but then they start moving around again. She was born a week before her due date, could this be the cause? Sorry for asking dumb question but like I said Im a first time mommy. Thank you for your answers!
My baby hiccuped a lot when he was little too. It no big deal and doesn't bother them like it might bother us. With age, you baby will stop hiccuping as much.

Just be yourself; with this being said it depends on the type of person you are. If you are an introvert you probably should just go with the flow of conversation when it is established. You would probably do better dating someone you have befriended. If you are an extrovert you might be able to start random conversations which random people. If you through the poll out you will eventually catch a fish (not that I am comparing a woman to a fish, it was just a parable-type of statement)

In my eyes, a country singer is not only someone who sings country, but IS country. I have to agree with you on this one. The first time I heard the song on the radio I was like "why in the heck is Jessica Simpson singing country." She is beautiful and has a great voice, but she just doesn't seem country at all. Being from Texas has nothing to do with it. I seriously think that she is doing it just to compete with Carrie Underwood because she is jealous of her.
On the other hand, though, I loved Shania Twain back in the 90's and at that time she didn't seem at all country.

I have to agree with you on this one. The first time I heard the song on the radio I was like "why in the heck is Jessica Simpson singing country." She is beautiful and has a great voice, but she just doesn't seem country at all. Being from Texas has nothing to do with it. I seriously think that she is doing it just to compete with Carrie Underwood because she is jealous of her.
On the other hand, though, I loved Shania Twain back in the 90's and at that time she didn't seem at all country.

Unfortunately people have made her what she is. She has been ridiculed from the very beginning whether it was when she was doing pop or now when she is crossing over to country, No matter what she does she will have critics criticizing her every move because of her past. I listened to her song the other day and thought it was actually good. I think if more people would quit judging her on her past they would see she is just a simple country girl who is trying to find her mark in the business.
